First Shift Full-Time
This individual must have Microbiological background, outstanding
investigative, analytical and organizational skills. The sucessful candidate will work as a key
member of our quality assurance team. This person will be responsible for testing and inspecting products and the
and the facility at various stages of production and responsible for performing quality assurance
duties to ensure compliance to USDA and company standards.
Requirements :
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbology, Chemistry or related field
with 3-5 years experience (in a USDA plant is preferred. An understanding of the relationship
between micro results and sanitation. An understanding of formulations and the USDA and processing requirements.
Investigative and analytival skills - interest and ability to find causes and solutions of results.
Ability to anaylze the results of formulation and micro. Excellent communication skills in English - verbal and written.
Ability to communicate results from laboratory to sanitiation and ohter key pesonnel. Must be
proficient in MS Office including Word/Excel/Outlook.Ability to learn formulation software (ROI) and BAX systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to uphold and maintain Quality Assurance, Personal Protective Equipment, and sanitary standards.
Training in HACCP, GMP’s, Food and laboratory safety a plus.

Position: Brand Ambassador/Event Staff
Department: Marketing/Promotions
Status: Temporary/Seasonal: March-October 2008
Hours: Weekends (all day), some weekdays
Salary: $15/hr
Description: As a Kayem Crewsader you will be one of Kayem’s “brand ambassadors” and will answer consumer questions, execute marketing promotions and market research surveys at events this fall and winter. Support our field marketing and trade promotional events throughout New England this fall and winter. Responsibilities include driving The Holy Grill event vehicle to and from events and setting up and taking down event signage and equipment. Crewsaders will also prepare, grill and sample new Kayem products.
No experience necessary, training will be provided.
Requirements:
All candidates must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be 21 years of age or older and have a medical card (or the ability to obtain a medical card)
All candidates must be able to lift items up to 50 lbs without assistance
Must enjoy working with the public and be energetic, outgoing, personable, flexible, professional, organized and reliable.
Previous experience driving a van or truck with a trailer attachment is a plus.
Previous food preparation or field marketing promotion experience is a plus.
Overnight travel is possible, but limited.

Production Supervisor(s) - Chelsea Plant
|

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Production Department, including interviewing, hiring and training
employees, planning, assigning and directing work, and meeting USDA and HAACP guidelines and Company standards. Requires
a 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent, plus 1-3 years experience as a supervisor or team leader in a food processing environment. Must have excellent
communication and leadership skills and possess strong mathematical aptitude. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Requirements :
One to three years of supervisory/leadership experience in a food-processing
(preferably meat) environment. BS/BA degree required. Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
are a plus. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills and possess strong mathematical aptitude. Must be flexible
with work hours and be able to work overtime and/or weekends. Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs.

Maintenance Mechanics - Chelsea Plant (2nd and 3rd Shifts)

We are seeking eager and enthusiastic candidates that thrive on teamwork and continuous
improvement. Responsibilities include troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical
equipment. Ideal candidate will have experience as an industrial equipment mechanic.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily and possess the following abilities : Qualified candidates require a minimum
of three years of experience as an industrial equipemnt mechanic, the ability to troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment and PLC's.
Must have strong electro-mechanical and building maintenance skills. Computer/PLC skills helpful. Candidate
must read and speak English. Must work well with mathematical concepts. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
